We aim to transform lives and communities by bringing young people into a living and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. At Fusion we do this through meeting together, building relationships and learning more about God in a relevant and exciting way.

Everyone in secondary school is welcome to join Fusion, whether they go to church or not.

Our main meeting is on a Monday night (during term time) between 7:30 and 9pm at St. John’s Church Centre.

What you can expect on a typical Monday:

Between 7:30 and 8pm is an opportunity to catch up with friends, play games such as pool, table football and FIFA and enjoy drinks and biscuits
At about 8pm we come together to play a game – our all time favourite is Hide and Seek in church!
After all of this fun we split into smaller groups to discuss this week’s theme using creative activities, video clips and thought provoking questions.

Each week between 20 and 30 young people join us, why not come along!

Rock Solid Sunday Breakfast

For those who come to St. John’s on a Sunday morning there is also ROCK SOLID which runs parallel to the 10:30 service and is for those in Year 6 up to age 16.

We leave part way through the service and have breakfast together in the church centre before spending time investigating the Bible through a variety of creative activities and discussion.

Anyone over 16 is encouraged to stay in our lively and welcoming service and hear practical messages about real life issues. On the first Sunday of the month, the whole church family stays together for our All Age Service.

Socials and Events

As well as our regular FUSION meetings, we also run a variety of trips and events throughout the school year. In the past some of our events have included trips to Laser Quest, Cadbury World and film & pizza nights at church. Meanwhile, every first and last FUSION of the school term is a social event with a variety of activities, games and refreshments.

If all that wasn’t enough, we also run a weekend residential to the Quinta Christian Centre near Oswestry every April.
